भक्तामर स्तोत्र: जैन धर्म एक प्राचीन धर्म है। जैन धर्म के भक्तों को “जैन” के रूप में नामित किया गया है, यह शब्द संस्कृत शब्द जीना (विजेता) से लिया गया है।

नैतिक और गहन जीवन के माध्यम से जीवन के पुनरुत्थान की बाढ़ को पार करने में विजय के मार्ग का महत्व है।

जैन अपने इतिहास का अनुसरण चौबीस विजयी नायकों और प्रशिक्षकों की श्रृंखला के माध्यम से करते हैं जिन्हें तीर्थंकर के नाम से जाना जाता है, जिनमें पहले शासक आदिनाथ या ऋषभ देव थे।

भक्तामर स्तोत्र

भक्तामर स्तोत्र (भक्त + ‘अमर’) जैनियों के बीच एक बहुत लोकप्रिय स्तोत्र है, और इसका पाठ कई परिवारों द्वारा प्रतिदिन किया जाता है।

ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस भक्तामर स्तोत्र (Bhaktamar Stotra) के प्रत्येक श्लोक में मंत्र की शक्ति है और यह सपनों को साकार करने में सहायक है।

जैन धर्मग्रंथों के अनुसार, जैन मुनि, आचार्य मानतुंगाचार्यजी ने भगवान आदिनाथ की स्तुति (स्तुति) में भक्तामर स्तोत्र लिखा था।

भक्तामर स्तोत्र का प्रत्येक शब्द उनकी ज्ञानवर्धक भक्ति और भगवान के प्रति असीम आस्था को प्रकट करता है।

भक्तामर स्तोत्र का महत्व अवंती के शासक राजा हर्ष के दरबार में बाना और मयूर नामक दो महान विद्वान थे।

भक्तामर स्तोत्र क्या है? What is Bhaktamar Stotra?

भक्तामर स्तोत्र एक प्रसिद्ध जैन संस्कृत प्रार्थना है। इसकी रचना आचार्य मानतुंगा (7वीं शताब्दी ई.पू.) द्वारा की गई थी।

भक्तामर नाम दो संस्कृत नामों, “भक्त” और “अमर” के संयोजन से आया है। इस भक्तामर स्तोत्र में, आचार्य मानतुंगा ने 48 सबसे प्रमुख खंडों में इस साहसिक कार्य को चित्रित किया है।

जब आप प्राथमिक शब्द ‘भक्त’ प्रस्तुत करना शुरू करते हैं, तो आप सर्वशक्तिमान की तीव्रता के व्यक्तित्व चित्रण में संलग्न हो जाते हैं।

जब आप अंतिम शब्द, ‘लक्ष्मी’ के साथ समापन करते हैं, तो आपके पूरे शरीर में जीवन शक्ति की एक स्पष्ट सकारात्मक प्रगति होती है।

ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस स्तोत्र के प्रत्येक श्लोक में मंत्र की शक्ति है और यह सपनों को साकार करने में सहायक है।

जैन धर्मग्रंथों के अनुसार, जैन मुनि, आचार्य मानतुंगाचार्यजी ने भगवान आदिनाथ की स्तुति (स्तुति) में भक्तामर स्तोत्र लिखा था।

यह उन्होंने जेल में लिखा था, क्योंकि राजा भोज ने उन्हें अपनी रहस्यवादी शक्तियां न दिखाने के कारण कैद कर लिया था।

उनके भक्तामर श्लोकों की शक्ति ऐसी थी कि, जैसे ही उन्होंने स्तोत्र लिखना पूरा किया, 48 जेल के ताले चमत्कारिक रूप से एक-एक करके खुल गए।

भक्तामर स्तोत्र लिरिक्स – Bhaktamar Stotra Lyrics with Meaning

श्लोक- 1

भक्तामर-प्रणत-मौलि-मणि-प्रभाणा-
मुद्योतकं दलित-पाप-तमो-वितानम् ।
सम्यक्-प्रणम्य जिन प-पाद-युगं युगादा-
वालम्बनं भव-जले पततां जनानाम् ॥1॥

हिंदी अर्थ – झुके हुए भक्त देवो के मुकुट जड़ित मणियों की प्रथा को प्रकाशित करने वाले, पाप रुपी अंधकार के समुह को नष्ट करने वाले, कर्मयुग के प्रारम्भ में संसार समुन्द्र में डूबते हुए प्राणियों के लिये आलम्बन भूत जिनेन्द्रदेव के चरण युगल को मन वचन कार्य से प्रणाम करके । (मैं मुनि मानतुंग उनकी स्तुति करूँगा)

English Meaning – When the Gods bow down at Bhagavan Rishabhdeva’s feet, the divine glow of his nails increases the shininess of the jewels of their crowns.

The mere touch of his feet absolves beings from sins. He who submits himself at these feet is saved from taking birth again and again.

I offer my reverential salutations at the feet of Bhagavan Rishabhadeva, the first Tirthankar, the propagator of religion at the beginning of this era.

श्लोक- 2

य: संस्तुत: सकल-वां मय-तत्त्व-बोधा-
दुद्भूत-बुद्धि-पटुभि: सुर-लोक-नाथै: ।
स्तोत्रैर्जगत्-त्रितय-चित्त-हरैरुदारै:,
स्तोष्ये किलाहमपि तं प्रथमं जिनेन्द्रम् ॥2॥

हिंदी अर्थ – सम्पूर्णश्रुतज्ञान से उत्पन्न हुई बुद्धि की कुशलता से इन्द्रों के द्वारा तीन लोक के मन को हरने वाले, गंभीर स्तोत्रों के द्वारा जिनकी स्तुति की गई है उन आदिनाथ जिनेन्द्र की निश्चय ही मैं (मानतुंग) भी स्तुति करूँगा।

English Meaning – Wise celestial lords, who have acquired wisdom from all the canons, have eulogized Bhagavan Adinath with Hymns, bringing joy to the audience of three realms (heaven, earth, and hell).

I(Matungacharya, a humble man with little wisdom) shall be steadfast in my endeavor to eulogize that first Tirthankar.

श्लोक- 3

बुद्ध्या विनापि विबुधार्चित-पाद-पीठ!
स्तोतुं समुद्यत-मतिर्विगत-त्रपोऽहम् ।
बालं विहाय जल-संस्थित-मिन्दु-बिम्ब-
मन्य: क इच्छति जन: सहसा ग्रहीतुम् ॥3॥

हिंदी अर्थ – देवों के द्वारा पूजित हैं सिंहासन जिनका, ऐसे हे जिनेन्द्र मैं बुद्धि रहित होते हुए भी निर्लज्ज होकर स्तुति करने के लिये तत्पर हुआ हूँ क्योंकि जल में स्थित चन्द्रमा के प्रतिबिम्ब को बालक को छोड़कर दूसरा कौन मनुष्य सहसा पकड़ने की इच्छा करेगा? अर्थात् कोई नहीं ।

English Meaning – As an ignorant child takes up the impossible task of grabbing the moon’s reflection in the water out of impudence alone, an uneducated man like me is trying to eulogize a great soul like you.

श्लोक- 4

वक्तुं गुणान्गुण-समुद्र ! शशांक-कान्तान्,
कस्ते क्षम: सुर-गुरु-प्रतिमोऽपि बुद्ध्या ।
कल्पान्त-काल-पवनोद्धत-नक्र-चक्रं ,
को वा तरीतुमलमम्बुनिधिं भुजाभ्याम् ॥4॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे गुणों के भंडार! आपके चन्द्रमा के समान सुन्दर गुणों को कहने लिये ब्रहस्पति के सद्रश भी कौन पुरुष समर्थ है? अर्थात् कोई नहीं। अथवा प्रलयकाल की वायु के द्वारा प्रचण्ड है मगरमच्छों का समूह जिसमें ऐसे समुद्र को भुजाओं के द्वारा तैरने के लिए कौन समर्थ है
अर्थात् कोई नहीं ।

English Meaning – O Ocean of virtues! Can even Brihaspati, the guruji of gods, with the help of his unlimited wisdom, narrate your virtues as transparent and blissful as the moon? (Certainly not.) Is it possible for a man to swim across the reptile-infested ocean, lashed by gales of deluge? (Certainly not.)

श्लोक- 5

सोऽहं तथापि तव भक्ति-वशान्मुनीश!
कर्तुं स्तवं विगत-शक्ति-रपि प्रवृत्त: ।
प्रीत्यात्म-वीर्य-मविचार्य मृगी मृगेन्द्रम्
नाभ्येति किं निज-शिशो: परिपालनार्थम् ॥5॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे मुनीश! तथापि-शक्ति रहित होता हुआ भी, मैं- अल्पज्ञ, भक्तिवश, आपकी स्तुति करने को तैयार हुआ हूँ।

हरिणि, अपनी शक्ति का विचार न कर, प्रीतिवश अपने शिशु की रक्षा के लिये, क्या सिंह के सामने नहीं जाती? अर्थात जाती हैं।

English Meaning – O Apostle of apostles! I am incapable of narrating your infinite virtues. Still, inspired by my devotion to you, I intend to compose a hymn in your praise.

It is well known that to protect her fawn, even a doe puts her feet down and faces a lion, forgetting its frailty.

श्लोक- 6

अल्प-श्रुतं श्रुतवतां परिहास-धाम,
त्वद्-भक्तिरेव मुखरी-कुरुते बलान्माम् ।
यत्कोकिल: किल मधौ मधुरं विरौति,
तच्चाम्र-चारु-कलिका-निकरैक-हेतु: ॥6॥

हिंदी अर्थ – विद्वानों की हँसी के पात्र, मुझ अल्पज्ञानी को आपकी भक्ति ही बोलने को विवश करती हैं। बसन्त ऋतु में कोयल जो मधुर शब्द करती है उसमें निश्चय से आम्र कलिका ही एक मात्र कारण हैं ।

English Meaning – O lord! I am such an ignorant that I am an object of ridicule for the wise.

Still, my devotion to you compels me to sing hymns in your praise as the mango sprouts compel the cuckoo during the springtime to produce its melodious coo.

श्लोक- 7

त्वत्संस्तवेन भव-सन्तति-सन्निबद्धं,
पापं क्षणात्क्षयमुपैति शरीरभाजाम् ।
आक्रान्त-लोक-मलि-नील-मशेष-माशु,
सूर्यांशु-भिन्न-मिव शार्वर-मन्धकारम् ॥7॥

हिंदी अर्थ – आपकी स्तुति से, प्राणियों के, अनेक जन्मों में बाँध गये पाप कर्म क्षण भर में नष्ट हो जाते हैं जैसे सम्पूर्ण लोक में व्याप्त रात्री का अंधकार सूर्य की किरणों से क्षणभर में छिन्न भिन्न हो जाता है।

English Meaning – Just as the bright sun rays remove darkness, the sins accumulated by living beings are wiped out by praying to you.

श्लोक- 8

मत्वेति नाथ! तव संस्तवनं मयेद,-
मारभ्यते तनु-धियापि तव प्रभावात् ।
चेतो हरिष्यति सतां नलिनी-दलेषु,
मुक्ता-फल-द्युति-मुपैति ननूद-बिन्दु: ॥8॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे स्वामिन्! ऐसा मानकर मुझ मन्दबुद्धि के द्वारा भी आपका यह स्तवन प्रारम्भ किया जाता है, जो आपके प्रभाव से सज्जनों के चित्त को हरेगा। निश्चय से पानी की बूँद कमलिनी के पत्तों पर मोती के समान शोभा को प्राप्त करती हैं।

English Meaning – I compose this panegyric with the belief that, though composed by an ignorant like me, it will certainly please noble people due to your divine influence. Indeed, when on lotus leaves, dew drops gleam like pearls presenting a pleasant sight.

श्लोक – 9

आस्तां तव स्तवन-मस्त-समस्त-दोषं,
त्वत्संकथाऽपि जगतां दुरितानि हन्ति ।
दूरे सहस्रकिरण: कुरुते प्रभैव,
पद्माकरेषु जलजानि विकासभांजि ॥9॥

हिंदी अर्थ – सम्पूर्ण दोषों से रहित आपका स्तवन तो दूर, आपकी पवित्र कथा भी प्राणियों के पापों का नाश कर देती है। जैसे, सूर्य तो दूर, उसकी प्रभा ही सरोवर में कमलों को विकसित कर देती है।

English Meaning – The brilliant sun is far away; still, at dawn its soft glow makes the drooping lotus buds bloom.

Similarly, O Jina! Let alone the immeasurable powers of your eulog, mere utterance of your name with devotion destroys the sins of the mundane beings and purifies them.

श्लोक – 10

नात्यद्-भुतं भुवन-भूषण ! भूूत-नाथ!
भूतैर्गुणैर्भुवि भवन्त-मभिष्टुवन्त: ।
तुल्या भवन्ति भवतो ननु तेन किं वा
भूत्याश्रितं य इह नात्मसमं करोति ॥10॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे जगत् के भूषण! हे प्राणियों के नाथ! सत्यगुणों के द्वारा आपकी स्तुति करने वाले पुरुष पृथ्वी पर यदि आपके समान हो जाते हैं तो इसमें अधिक आश्चर्य नहीं है।

क्योंकि उस स्वामी से क्या प्रयोजन, जो इस लोक में अपने अधीन पुरुष को सम्पत्ति के द्वारा अपने समान नहीं कर लेता ।

English Meaning – O ornament of the world! O Lord of the living beings! If the men who praise you through true virtues become like you on earth, then there is no surprise in it.

Because what is the use of a master who does not make the man under his control in this world equal to himself through wealth.

श्लोक – 11

दृष्ट्वा भवन्त मनिमेष-विलोकनीयं,
नान्यत्र-तोष-मुपयाति जनस्य चक्षु: ।
पीत्वा पय: शशिकर-द्युति-दुग्ध-सिन्धो:,
क्षारं जलं जलनिधेरसितुं क इच्छेत्?॥11॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे अभिमेष दर्शनीय प्रभो! आपके दर्शन के पश्चात् मनुष्यों के नेत्र अन्यत्र सन्तोष को प्राप्त नहीं होते। चन्द्रकीर्ति के समान निर्मल क्षीरसमुद्र के जल को पीकर कौन पुरुष समुद्र के खारे पानी को पीना चाहेगा? अर्थात् कोई नहीं ।

English Meaning – O Jina! Your divine magnificence is spell-binding. After looking at your divine form nothing else please the eye.

Obviously, who would like to taste the saline sea water after drinking fresh water of the divine milk-ocean, pure and soothing like moonlight?

भक्तामर स्तोत्र

श्लोक – 12

यै: शान्त-राग-रुचिभि: परमाणुभिस्-त्वं,
निर्मापितस्-त्रि-भुवनैक-ललाम-भूत !
तावन्त एव खलु तेऽप्यणव: पृथिव्यां,
यत्ते समान-मपरं न हि रूप-मस्ति ॥12॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे त्रिभुवन के एकमात्र आभुषण जिनेन्द्रदेव! जिन रागरहित सुन्दर परमाणुओं के द्वारा आपकी रचना हुई वे परमाणु पृथ्वी पर निश्चय से उतने ही थे क्योंकि आपके समान दूसरा रूप नहीं है ।

English Meaning – O Crown of the three realms! It appears as if the quiescen ce and harmony imparting ultimate particles became extinct after constituting your body, because I do not witness such out of the world magnificience other than yours.

श्लोक – 13

वक्त्रं क्व ते सुर-नरोरग-नेत्र-हारि,
नि:शेष-निर्जित-जगत्त्रितयोपमानम् ।
बिम्बं कलंक-मलिनं क्व निशाकरस्य,
यद्वासरे भवति पाण्डुपलाश-कल्पम् ॥13॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे प्रभो! सम्पूर्ण रुप से तीनों जगत् की उपमाओं का विजेता, देव मनुष्य तथा धरणेन्द्र के नेत्रों को हरने वाला कहां आपका मुख? और कलंक से मलिन, चन्द्रमा का वह मण्डल कहां? जो दिन में पलाश (ढाक) के पत्ते के समान फीका पड़ जाता ।

English Meaning – Analogy of your face with the moon does not appear proper to me. How can your scintillating face, that please the eyes of gods, angels, humans and other beings alike, be compared with the spotted moon that is dull and pale, during the day, as the autumn leaves. Indeed, even the best available analogy for your face is lowly in comparison.

श्लोक – 14

सम्पूर्ण-मण्डल-शशांक-कला-कलाप-
शुभ्रा गुणास्-त्रि-भुवनं तव लंघयन्ति ।
ये संश्रितास्-त्रि-जगदीश्वरनाथ-मेकं,
कस्तान् निवारयति संचरतो यथेष्टम् ॥14॥

हिंदी अर्थ – पूर्ण चन्द्र की कलाओं के समान उज्ज्वल आपके गुण, तीनों लोको में व्याप्त हैं क्योंकि जो अद्वितीय त्रिजगत् के भी नाथ के आश्रित हैं उन्हें इच्छानुसार घुमते हुए कौन रोक सकता हैं? कोई नहीं ।

English Meaning – O Lord of the three realms! Surpassing the glow of the full moon, your infinite virtues are radiating throughout the universe- even beyond the three realms; the hymns in praise of your virtues can be heard everywhere throughout the universe.

Indeed, who can curb the freedom of movement of devotees of the only omnipotent like you? (Certainly no one is capable of).

श्लोक – 15

चित्रं-किमत्र यदि ते त्रिदशांग-नाभिर्-
नीतं मनागपि मनो न विकार-मार्गम् ।
कल्पान्त-काल-मरुता चलिताचलेन,
किं मन्दराद्रिशिखरं चलितं कदाचित् ॥15॥

हिंदी अर्थ – यदि आपका मन देवागंनाओं के द्वारा किंचित् भी विक्रति को प्राप्त नहीं कराया जा सका, तो इस विषय में आश्चर्य ही क्या है? पर्वतों को हिला देने वाली प्रलयकाल की पवन के द्वारा क्या कभी मेरु का शिखर हिल सका है? नहीं ।

English Meaning – O Passionless! Divine nymphs have tried their best to allure you through libid gestures, but it is not surprising that your tranquillity has not been disturbed even fractionally.

Of course, the tremendous gale of the doomsday that moves common hillocks can not disturb even the tip of the great Sumeru mountain.

श्लोक – 16

निर्धूम-वर्ति-रपवर्जित-तैल-पूर:,
कृत्स्नं जगत्त्रय-मिदं प्रकटीकरोषि ।
गम्यो न जातु मरुतां चलिताचलानां,
दीपोऽपरस्त्वमसि नाथ ! जगत्प्रकाश: ॥16॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे स्वामिन्! आप धूम तथा बाती से रहित, तेल के प्रवाह के बिना भी इस सम्पूर्ण लोक को प्रकट करने वाले अपूर्व जगत् प्रकाशक दीपक हैं जिसे पर्वतों को हिला देने वाली वायु भी कभी बुझा नहीं सकती ।

English Meaning – O Lord! You are an all enlightening divine lamp that needs neither a wick nor oil,and is smokeless, yet enlightens three realms. Even the storm that moves the immovables does not effect it.

श्लोक – 17

नास्तं कदाचिदुपयासि न राहुगम्य:,
स्पष्टीकरोषि सहसा युगपज्-जगन्ति ।
नाम्भोधरोदर-निरुद्ध-महा-प्रभाव:,
सूर्यातिशायि-महिमासि मुनीन्द्र! लोके ॥17॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे मुनीन्द्र! आप न तो कभी अस्त होते हैं न ही राहु के द्वारा ग्रसे जाते हैं और न आपका महान तेज मेघ से तिरोहित होता है आप एक साथ तीनों लोकों को शीघ्र ही प्रकाशित कर देते हैं अतः आप सूर्य से भी अधिक महिमावन्त हैं ।

English Meaning – O Monk among monks! Your unabounding glory is greater than that of the sun. The sun rises every day but sets as well, but the orb of your omniscience is ever shining; it never sets.

The sun is eclipsed, but you are passionless and infinitely virtuous; as such, no mundane passion or desire eclipses the glory of your virtues.

The sun slowly rises over parts of the world, but the glow of your omniscience reaches every part of the world at once.

Insignificant clouds obstruct the sun’s rays, but there is nothing that can obstruct the radiance of your knowledge.

श्लोक – 18

नित्योदयं दलित-मोह-महान्धकारं,
गम्यं न राहु-वदनस्य न वारिदानाम् ।
विभ्राजते तव मुखाब्ज-मनल्पकान्ति,
विद्योतयज्-जगदपूर्व-शशांक-बिम्बम् ॥18॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हमेशा उदित रहने वाला, मोहरुपी अंधकार को नष्ट करने वाला जिसे न तो राहु ग्रस सकता है, न ही मेघ आच्छादित कर सकते हैं, अत्यधिक कान्तिमान, जगत को प्रकाशित करने वाला आपका मुखकमल रुप अपूर्व चन्द्रमण्डल शोभित होता है ।

English Meaning – O Lord! Your lotus face is a moon par excellence. The moon shines only at night, and that too in a fortnightly cycle, but your face is ever radiant.

While moonlight penetrates darkness only to a limited extent, your face removes the universal darkness of ignorance and desire.

The moon is eclipsed and covered by clouds, but there is nothing that can veil your face.

श्लोक – 19

किं शर्वरीषु शशिनाह्नि विवस्वता वा,
युष्मन्मुखेन्दु-दलितेषु तम:सु नाथ!
निष्पन्न-शालि-वन-शालिनी जीव-लोके,
कार्यं कियज्जल-धरै-र्जल-भार-नमै्र: ॥19॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे स्वामिन्! जब अंधकार आपके मुख रुपी चन्द्रमा के द्वारा नष्ट हो जाता है तो रात्रि में चन्द्रमा से एवं दिन में सूर्य से क्या प्रयोजन? पके हुए धान्य के खेतों से शोभायमान धरती तल पर पानी के भार से झुके हुए मेघों से फिर क्या प्रयोजन।

English Meaning – O Lord of the Universe! Where is the need for the sun during the day and the moon during the night when your ever-radiant face sweeps away the darkness of the world? Indeed, once the crop is ripe, what is needed for the thundering rain clouds?

श्लोक – 20

ज्ञानं यथा त्वयि विभाति कृतावकाशं,
नैवं तथा हरि-हरादिषु नायकेषु ।
तेजो महा मणिषु याति यथा महत्त्वं,
नैवं तु काच-शकले किरणाकुलेऽपि ॥20॥

हिंदी अर्थ – अवकाश को प्राप्त ज्ञान जिस प्रकार आप में शोभित होता है वैसा विष्णु महेश आदि देवों में नहीं। कान्तिमान मणियों में, तेज जैसे महत्व को प्राप्त होता है वैसे किरणों से व्याप्त भी काँच के टुकड़े में नहीं होता ।

English Meaning – O Lord! The pure, incessant and complete knowledge that you have, can not be found in any other deity in this world.

Indeed, the lustre and light of priceless gems can hardly be seen in the glass pieces glittering in a beam of light.

श्लोक – 21

मन्ये वरं हरि-हरादय एव दृष्टा,
दृष्टेषु येषु हृदयं त्वयि तोषमेति ।
किं वीक्षितेन भवता भुवि येन नान्य:,
कश्चिन्मनो हरति नाथ ! भवान्तरेऽपि ॥21॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे स्वामिन्। देखे गये विष्णु महादेव ही मैं उत्तम मानता हूँ, जिन्हें देख लेने पर मन आपमें सन्तोष को प्राप्त करता है। किन्तु आपको देखने से क्या लाभ? जिससे कि प्रथ्वी पर कोई दूसरा देव जन्मान्तर में भी चित्त को नहीं हर पाता।

English Meaning – O Supreme Lord! It is good that I have seen other mundane deities before seeing you; because the discontent even after seeing them has been removed by the glimpse of your detached and serene expression.

Now that I have witnessed the ultimate, I can not be satisfied with anything less in this life or the later lives.

श्लोक – 22

स्त्रीणां शतानि शतशो जनयन्ति पुत्रान्,
नान्या सुतं त्वदुपमं जननी प्रसूता ।
सर्वा दिशो दधति भानि सहस्र-रश्मिं,
प्राच्येव दिग्जनयति स्फुरदंशु-जालम् ॥22॥

हिंदी अर्थ – सैकड़ों स्त्रियाँ सैकड़ों पुत्रों को जन्म देती हैं, परन्तु आप जैसे पुत्र को दूसरी माँ उत्पन्न नहीं कर सकी। नक्षत्रों को सभी दिशायें धारण करती हैं परन्तु कान्तिमान् किरण समूह से युक्त सूर्य को पूर्व दिशा ही जन्म देती हैं।

English Meaning – O Unique! Numerous stars and planets can be seen in all directions but the sun rises only in the East.

Similarly innumerable women give birth to sons but an illustrious son like you was born only to one mother; you are unique.

श्लोक- 23

त्वामामनन्ति मुनय: परमं पुमांस-
मादित्य-वर्ण-ममलं तमस: पुरस्तात् ।
त्वामेव सम्य-गुपलभ्य जयन्ति मृत्युं,
नान्य: शिव: शिवपदस्य मुनीन्द्र! पन्था:॥23॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे मुनीन्द्र! तपस्वीजन आपको सूर्य की तरह तेजस्वी निर्मल और मोहान्धकार से परे रहने वाले परम पुरुष मानते हैं।

वे आपको ही अच्छी तरह से प्राप्त कर म्रत्यु को जीतते हैं। इसके सिवाय मोक्षपद का दूसरा अच्छा रास्ता नहीं है।

English Meaning – O Sage of sages! All sages believe you to be the supreme being beyond the darkness,and brilliant as the sun.

You are free of the malignance of attachment and aversion and beyond the darkness of ignorance.

One gains immortality by perceiving, understanding,and following the path of purity you have shown. There is no other path leading to salvation.

श्लोक – 24

त्वा-मव्ययं विभु-मचिन्त्य-मसंख्य-माद्यं,
ब्रह्माणमीश्वर-मनन्त-मनंग-केतुम् ।
योगीश्वरं विदित-योग-मनेक-मेकं,
ज्ञान-स्वरूप-ममलं प्रवदन्ति सन्त: ॥24॥

हिंदी अर्थ – सज्जन पुरुष आपको शाश्वत, विभु, अचिन्त्य, असंख्य, आद्य, ब्रह्मा, ईश्वर, अनन्त, अनंगकेतु, योगीश्वर, विदितयोग, अनेक, एक ज्ञानस्वरुप और अमल कहते हैं ।

English Meaning – O Lord! Viewing you from different perspectives, sages address you as: Amaranthine(in existence), All-pervading (in knowledge), Unfathomable (in perception), Infinite(in virtues), Progenitor(of philosophy), Perpetually blissful(in-state), Majestic(in spiritual glory), Eternal(in purity), Serene(with respect to sensuality), Lord of ascetics(in meditation), Preceptor of Yoga(in the yoga philosophy), Multidimensional(in perspective), Unique(in identity), Omniscient(in form), and Pure(free from all vices).

श्लोक – 25

बुद्धस्त्वमेव विबुधार्चित-बुद्धि-बोधात्,
त्वं शंकरोऽसि भुवन-त्रय-शंकरत्वात् ।
धातासि धीर! शिव-मार्ग विधेर्विधानाद्,
व्यक्तं त्वमेव भगवन् पुरुषोत्तमोऽसि ॥25॥

हिंदी अर्थ – देव अथवा विद्वानों के द्वारा पूजित ज्ञान वाले होने से आप ही बुद्ध हैं। तीनों लोकों में शान्ति करने के कारण आप ही शंकर हैं।

हे धीर! मोक्षमार्ग की विधि के करने वाले होने से आप ही ब्रह्मा हैं। और हे स्वामिन्! आप ही स्पष्ट रुप से मनुष्यों में उत्तम अथवा नारायण हैं।

English Meaning – O Jina! The wise have eulogized your omniscience, so you are the Buddha. You are the ultimate benefactor of all the beings in the universe, so you are Shamkara.

You are the originator of the codes of conduct (Right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct)leading to Moksha, and you are Brahma.

You are manifest in the thoughts of all the devotees in all the splendor of the ultimate, so you are Vishnu. Hence, you are the supreme of all.

श्लोक – 26

तुभ्यं नमस्-त्रिभुवनार्ति-हराय नाथ!
तुभ्यं नम: क्षिति-तलामल-भूषणाय ।
तुभ्यं नमस्-त्रिजगत: परमेश्वराय,
तुभ्यं नमो जिन! भवोदधि-शोषणाय ॥26॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे स्वामिन्! तीनों लोकों के दुःख को हरने वाले आपको नमस्कार हो, प्रथ्वीतल के निर्मल आभुषण स्वरुप आपको नमस्कार हो, तीनों जगत् के परमेश्वर आपको नमस्कार हो और संसार समुन्द्र को सुखा देने वाले आपको नमस्कार हो।

English Meaning – O Deliverer from all the miseries of the three realms ! I bow to you. O Virtuous adoration of this world! I bow to you.

O Lord paramount of the three realms! I bow to you. O Terminator of the unending chain of waves of rebirths! I bow to you.

श्लोक – 27

को विस्मयोऽत्र यदि नाम गुणै-रशेषैस्-
त्वं संश्रितो निरवकाशतया मुनीश !
दोषै-रुपात्त-विविधाश्रय-जात-गर्वै:,
स्वप्नान्तरेऽपि न कदाचिदपीक्षितोऽसि ॥27॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे मुनीश! अन्यत्र स्थान न मिलने के कारण समस्त गुणों ने यदि आपका आश्रय लिया हो तो तथा अन्यत्र अनेक आधारों को प्राप्त होने से अहंकार को प्राप्त दोषों ने कभी स्वप्न में भी आपको न देखा हो तो इसमें क्या आश्चर्य?

English Meaning – O Virtuous! It is not surprising that all the virtues have been drawn and densely fused into you, leaving no scope for vices.

The vices have crept into a multitude of other beings. Elevated by false pride, they drift away and do not approach you, even in dreams.

श्लोक- 28

उच्चै-रशोक-तरु-संश्रितमुन्मयूख-
माभाति रूपममलं भवतो नितान्तम् ।
स्पष्टोल्लसत्-किरण-मस्त-तमो-वितानं,
बिम्बं रवेरिव पयोधर-पाश्र्ववर्ति ॥28॥

हिंदी अर्थ – ऊँचे अशोक वृक्ष के नीचे स्थित, उन्नत किरणों वाला, आपका उज्ज्वल रुप जो स्पष्ट रुप से शोभायमान किरणों से युक्त है, अंधकार समूह के नाशक, मेघों के निकट स्थित सूर्य बिम्ब की तरह अत्यन्त शोभित होता है।

English Meaning – O Tirthankara! Sitting under the Ashoka tree, the aura of your scintillating body radiating, you look as divinely splendid as the orb of the sun amidst dense clouds, piercing the growing darkness with its rays.

श्लोक- 29

सिंहासने मणि-मयूख-शिखा-विचित्रे,
विभ्राजते तव वपु: कनकावदातम् ।
बिम्बं वियद्-विलस-दंशुलता-वितानं
तुंगोदयाद्रि-शिरसीव सहस्र-रश्मे: ॥29॥

हिंदी अर्थ – मणियों की किरण-ज्योति से सुशोभित सिंहासन पर, आपका सुवर्ण कि तरह उज्ज्वल शरीर, उदयाचल के उच्च शिखर पर आकाश में शोभित, किरण रुप लताओं के समूह वाले सूर्य मण्डल की तरह शोभायमान हो रहा है।

English Meaning – O Tirthankara! Sitting on throne with multicoloured hue of gems. Your bright golden body looks resplendent and attractive like the rising sun on the peak of the eastern mountain’s radiating golden rays under the canopy of the blue sky.

श्लोक – 30

कुन्दावदात-चल-चामर-चारु-शोभं,
विभ्राजते तव वपु: कलधौत-कान्तम् ।
उद्यच्छशांक-शुचिनिर्झर-वारि-धार-
मुच्चैस्तटं सुरगिरेरिव शातकौम्भम् ॥30॥

हिंदी अर्थ – कुन्द के पुष्प के समान धवल चॅवरों के द्वारा सुन्दर है शोभा जिसकी, ऐसा आपका स्वर्ण के समान सुन्दर शरीर, सुमेरुपर्वत, जिस पर चन्द्रमा के समान उज्ज्वल झरने के जल की धारा बह रही है, के स्वर्ण निर्मित ऊँचे तट की तरह शोभायमान हो रहा है।

English Meaning – O Tirthankara! The snow white fans of loose fibres (giant whisks) swinging on both sides of your golden body appear like streams of water, pure and glittering as the rising moon, flowing down th sides of the peakof the golden mountain, Sumeru.

श्लोक – 31

छत्रत्रयं-तव-विभाति शशांककान्त,
मुच्चैः स्थितं स्थगित भानुकर-प्रतापम् ।
मुक्ताफल-प्रकरजाल-विवृद्धशोभं,
प्रख्यापयत्त्रिजगतः परमेश्वरत्वम् ॥31॥

हिंदी अर्थ – चन्द्रमा के समान सुन्दर, सूर्य की किरणों के सन्ताप को रोकने वाले, तथा मोतियों के समूहों से बढ़ती हुई शोभा को धारण करने वाले, आपके ऊपर स्थित तीन छत्र, मानो आपके तीन लोक के स्वामित्व को प्रकट करते हुए शोभित हो रहे हैं।

English Meaning – O Tirthankara! A three tier canopy adorns the space over your head. It has the soft white glow of the moon and is decorated with pearl frills.

This canopy has screened the scorching sun rays. Indeed, this three-tier canopy symbolizes your paramountcy over the three realms.

भक्तामर स्तोत्र

श्लोक – 32

गम्भीर-तार-रव-पूरित-दिग्विभागस्-
त्रैलोक्य-लोक-शुभ-संगम-भूति-दक्ष: ।
सद्धर्म-राज-जय-घोषण-घोषक: सन्,
खे दुन्दुभि-ध्र्वनति ते यशस: प्रवादी ॥32॥

हिंदी अर्थ – गम्भीर और उच्च शब्द से दिशाओं को गुञ्जायमान करने वाला, तीन लोक के जीवों को शुभ विभूति प्राप्त कराने में समर्थ और समीचीन जैन धर्म के स्वामी की जय घोषणा करने वाला दुन्दुभि वाद्य आपके यश का गान करता हुआ आकाश में शब्द करता है।

English Meaning – The deep resonant drum beats fill space in all directions as if felicitating your serene presence and giving a call to all the beings of the three realms to join the pious path shown by you. All space is reverberating with this announcement of victory of the true religion.

श्लोक – 33

मन्दार-सुन्दर-नमेरु-सुपारिजात-
सन्तानकादि-कुसुमोत्कर-वृष्टि-रुद्घा ।
गन्धोद-बिन्दु-शुभ-मन्द-मरुत्प्रपाता,
दिव्या दिव: पतति ते वचसां ततिर्वा ॥33॥

हिंदी अर्थ – सुगंधित जल बिन्दुओं और मन्द सुगन्धित वायु के साथ गिरने वाले श्रेष्ठ मनोहर मन्दार, सुन्दर, नमेरु, पारिजात, सन्तानक आदि कल्पवृक्षों के पुष्पों की वर्षा आपके वचनों की पंक्तियों की तरह आकाश से होती है।

English Meaning – O Tirthankara! The divine spray of perfumes and shower of fragrant flowers, like Mandar, Sundar, Nameru, Parijata, etc., float toward you with the drift of mild breeze.

This enchanting scene creates an impression that the pious words you utter have turned into flowers and are floating toward the earthlings.

श्लोक – 34

शुम्भत्-प्रभा-वलय-भूरि-विभा-विभोस्ते,
लोक-त्रये-द्युतिमतां द्युति-माक्षिपन्ती ।
प्रोद्यद्-दिवाकर-निरन्तर-भूरि-संख्या,
दीप्त्या जयत्यपि निशामपि सोमसौम्याम् ॥34॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे प्रभो! तीनों लोकों के कान्तिमान पदार्थों की प्रभा को तिरस्कृत करती हुई आपके मनोहर भामण्डल की विशाल कान्ति एक साथ उगते हुए अनेक सूर्यों की कान्ति से युक्त होकर भी चन्द्रमा से शोभित रात्रि को भी जीत रही है ।

English Meaning – O Tirthankara! The splendorous halo around you is more brilliant than any other luminous object in the universe.

It dispels darkness of the night and is more dazzling than many suns put together; but still it is as cool and soothing as the bright full moon.

श्लोक – 35

स्वर्गापवर्ग-गम-मार्ग-विमार्गणेष्ट:,
सद्धर्म-तत्त्व-कथनैक-पटुस्-त्रिलोक्या: ।
दिव्य-ध्वनि-र्भवति ते विशदार्थ-सर्व-
भाषास्वभाव-परिणाम-गुणै: प्रयोज्य: ॥35॥

हिंदी अर्थ – आपकी दिव्यध्वनि स्वर्ग और मोक्षमार्ग की खोज में साधक, तीन लोक के जीवों को समीचीन धर्म का कथन करने में समर्थ, स्पष्ट अर्थ वाली, समस्त भाषाओं में परिवर्तित करने वाले स्वाभाविक गुण से सहित होती है।

English Meaning – O Tirthankara! Your divine voice (discourse) is potent enough to show the path of liberation to all beings.

It has the clarity to reveal the mystery of matter and its trasformation. Profound but candid, it has the astounding capacity of transforming into the language understood by each being of the world.

श्लोक – 36

उन्निद्र-हेम-नव-पंकज-पुंज-कान्ती,
पर्युल्-लसन्-नख-मयूख-शिखाभिरामौ।
पादौ पदानि तव यत्र जिनेन्द्र ! धत्त:,
पद्मानि तत्र विबुधा: परिकल्पयन्ति ॥36॥

हिंदी अर्थ – पुष्पित नव स्वर्ण कमलों के समान शोभायमान नखों की किरण प्रभा से सुन्दर आपके चरण जहाँ पड़ते हैं वहाँ देव गण स्वर्ण कमल रच देते हैं।

English Meaning – O Jina! Your feet are resplendent like fresh golden lotuses. Their nails have a comely glow. Wherever you put your feet the gods create divine golden lotuses.

श्लोक – 37

॥ अन्तरंग-बहिरंग लक्ष्मी के स्वामी मंत्र॥
इत्थं यथा तव विभूति-रभूज्-जिनेन्द्र्र !
धर्मोपदेशन-विधौ न तथा परस्य।
यादृक्-प्र्रभा दिनकृत: प्रहतान्धकारा,
तादृक्-कुतो ग्रहगणस्य विकासिनोऽपि ॥37॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे जिनेन्द्र! इस प्रकार धर्मोपदेश के कार्य में जैसा आपका ऐश्वर्य था वैसा अन्य किसी का नहीं हुआ अंधकार को नष्ट करने वाली जैसी प्रभा सूर्य की होती है वैसी अन्य प्रकाशमान भी ग्रहों की कैसे हो सकती है?

English Meaning – O lord of ascetics! The height of eloquence, lucidity, and eruditeness evident in your discourse is not seen anywhere else.

Indeed, the darkness-dissipating dazzle of the sun can never be seen in the twinkling stars and planets.

श्लोक – 38

॥ हस्ती भय निवारण मंत्र ॥
श्च्यो-तन्-मदाविल-विलोल-कपोल-मूल,
मत्त-भ्रमद्-भ्रमर-नाद-विवृद्ध-कोपम्।
ऐरावताभमिभ-मुद्धत-मापतन्तं
दृष्ट्वा भयं भवति नो भवदाश्रितानाम् ॥38॥

हिंदी अर्थ – आपके आश्रित मनुष्यों को, झरते हुए मद जल से जिसके गण्डस्थल मलीन, कलुषित तथा चंचल हो रहे है और उन पर उन्मत्त होकर मंडराते हुए काले रंग के भौरे अपने गुजंन से क्रोध बढ़ा रहे हों ऐसे ऐरावत की तरह उद्दण्ड, सामने आते हुए हाथी को देखकर भी भय नहीं होता।

English Meaning – O Jina! The devotees who have submitted to you are not scared even of a mad mammoth with dripping humor and being incessantly goaded by humming bees.

(They are always and everywhere fearless as the quietitude of their deep meditation pacifies even the most oppressive of the beings.

श्लोक – 39

॥ सिंह-भय-विदूरण मंत्र ॥
भिन्नेभ-कुम्भ-गल-दुज्ज्वल-शोणिताक्त,
मुक्ता-फल-प्रकरभूषित-भूमि-भाग:।
बद्ध-क्रम: क्रम-गतं हरिणाधिपोऽपि,
नाक्रामति क्रम-युगाचल-संश्रितं ते ॥39॥

हिंदी अर्थ – सिंह, जिसने हाथी का गण्डस्थल विदीर्ण कर, गिरते हुए उज्ज्वल तथा रक्तमिश्रित गजमुक्ताओं से पृथ्वी तल को विभूषित कर दिया है तथा जो छलांग मारने के लिये तैयार है वह भी अपने पैरों के पास आये हुए ऐसे पुरुष पर आक्रमण नहीं करता जिसने आपके चरण युगल रुप पर्वत का आश्रय ले रखा है।

English Meaning – O Jina! A ferocious lion tears open the temples of elephant and scatters around white bone-pearls made crimson with blood.

Even such angry and roaring lion, ready to leap at its prey, gets pacified and does not attack a devotee who has taken shelter at your secure feet. (In other words, your devotee is free of the fear of ferocious lions.)

श्लोक – 40

॥ अग्नि भय-शमन मंत्र ॥
कल्पान्त-काल-पवनोद्धत-वह्नि-कल्पं,
दावानलं ज्वलित-मुज्ज्वल-मुत्स्फुलिंगम्।
विश्वं जिघत्सुमिव सम्मुख-मापतन्तं,
त्वन्नाम-कीर्तन-जलं शमयत्यशेषम् ॥40॥

हिंदी अर्थ – आपके नाम यशोगानरुपी जल, प्रलयकाल की वायु से उद्धत, प्रचण्ड अग्नि के समान प्रज्वलित, उज्ज्वल चिनगारियों से युक्त, संसार को भक्षण करने की इच्छा रखने वाले की तरह सामने आती हुई वन की अग्नि को पूर्ण रुप से बुझा देता है।

English Meaning – O Jina! Even the all-consuming forest conflagration, as if kindled by the doomsday tempest and having incandescant sparking flames, is extinguished in no time by the quenching stream of your name laudition. (That is, your devotee has no fear of fire.)

श्लोक – 41

॥ सर्प-भय-निवारण मंत्र ॥
रक्तेक्षणं समद-कोकिल-कण्ठ-नीलम्,
क्रोधोद्धतं फणिन-मुत्फण-मापतन्तम्।
आक्रामति क्रम-युगेण निरस्त-शंकस्-
त्वन्नाम-नागदमनी हृदि यस्य पुंस: ॥41॥

हिंदी अर्थ – जिस पुरुष के हृदय में नामरुपी-नागदौन नामक औषध मौजूद है, वह पुरुष लाल लाल आँखो वाले, मदयुक्त कोयल के कण्ठ की तरह काले, क्रोध से उद्धत और ऊपर को फण उठाये हुए, सामने आते हुए सर्प को निश्शंक होकर दोनों पैरो से लाँघ जाता है।

English Meaning – O Benevolent! A devotee who has absorbed the anti-toxin of your pious name crosses fearlessly over an extremely venomous and hissing serpent with blood-red eyes, a black body, an obnoxious appearance and a raised hood. (That is, your devotee has no fear of snakes.)

श्लोक – 42

॥ रण-रंगे-शत्रु पराजय मंत्र ॥
वल्गत्-तुरंग-गज-गर्जित-भीमनाद-
माजौ बलं बलवता-मपि-भूपतीनाम्।
उद्यद्-दिवाकर-मयूख-शिखापविद्धं
त्वत्कीर्तनात्तम इवाशु भिदामुपैति: ॥42॥

हिंदी अर्थ – आपके यशोगान से युद्धक्षेत्र में उछलते हुए घोड़े और हाथियों की गर्जना से उत्पन भयंकर कोलाहल से युक्त पराक्रमी राजाओं की भी सेना, उगते हुए सूर्य किरणों की शिखा से वेधे गये अंधकार की तरह शीघ्र ही नाश को प्राप्त हो जाती है।

English Meaning – O Conqueror of vices! As darkness recedes with the rising of the sun, the armies of formidable kings, creating a tumultuous uproar of whinnying horses and trumpeting elephants, retreat when your pious name is chanted. (In other words, your devotee is free of the fear of enemies.)

श्लोक- 43

॥ रणरंग विजय मंत्र ॥
कुन्ताग्र-भिन्न-गज-शोणित-वारिवाह,
वेगावतार-तरणातुर-योध-भीमे।
युद्धे जयं विजित-दुर्जय-जेय-पक्षास्-
त्वत्पाद-पंकज-वनाश्रयिणो लभन्ते: ॥43॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे भगवन् आपके चरण कमलरुप वन का सहारा लेने वाले पुरुष, भालों की नोकों से छेद गये हाथियों के रक्त रुप जल प्रवाह में पड़े हुए, तथा उसे तैरने के लिये आतुर हुए योद्धाओं से भयानक युद्ध में, दुर्जय शत्रु पक्ष को भी जीत लेते हैं।

English Meaning – O, Vanquisher of the passion! In the fierce battle, where brave warriors are eager to plod over the streams of blood gushing out of the bodies of elephants pierced by sharp spears, the devotee, having sought protection of the garden of your lotus feet, embraces victory ultimately. (In other words, your devotee is always victorious in the end.)

श्लोक – 44

॥ समुद्र उल्लंघन मंत्र ॥
अम्भोनिधौ क्षुभित-भीषण-नक्र-चक्र-
पाठीन-पीठ-भय-दोल्वण-वाडवाग्नौ।
रंगत्तरंग-शिखर-स्थित-यान-पात्रास्-
त्रासं विहाय भवत: स्मरणाद्-व्रजन्ति: ॥44॥

हिंदी अर्थ – क्षोभ को प्राप्त भयंकर मगरमच्छों के समूह और मछलियों के द्वारा भयभीत करने वाले दावानल से युक्त समुद्र में विकराल लहरों के शिखर पर स्थित है जहाज जिनका, ऐसे मनुष्य, आपके स्मरण मात्र से भय छोड़कर पार हो जाते हैं।

English Meaning – O Equanimous! Abroad, a ship caught at the crest of giant waves and surrounded by attacking alligators, giant oceanic creatures, and marine fire, with the help of your name chanting, the devotee surmounts such horrors and crosses the ocean. (That is, your devotees are free of the fear of water.)

श्लोक – 45

॥ रोग-उन्मूलन मंत्र ॥
उद्भूत-भीषण-जलोदर-भार-भुग्ना:,
शोच्यां दशा-मुपगताश्-च्युत-जीविताशा:।
त्वत्पाद-पंकज-रजो-मृत-दिग्ध-देहा:,
मत्र्या भवन्ति मकर-ध्वज-तुल्यरूपा: ॥45॥

हिंदी अर्थ – उत्पन्न हुए भीषण जलोदर रोग के भार से झुके हुए, शोभनीय अवस्था को प्राप्त और नहीं रही है जीवन की आशा जिनके, ऐसे मनुष्य आपके चरण कमलों की रज रुप अम्रत से लिप्त शरीर होते हुए कामदेव के समान रुप वाले हो जाते हैं ।

English Meaning – O Omniscient! An extremely sick person, disfigured due to advanced dropsy and having lost all hopes of recovery and survival, when rubs the nectar-like dust particles taken from your lotus feet, fully recovers and becomes handsome as Adonis.

श्लोक – 46

॥ बन्धन मुक्ति मंत्र ॥
आपाद-कण्ठमुरु-शृंखल-वेष्टितांगा,
गाढं-बृहन्-निगड-कोटि निघृष्ट-जंघा:।
त्वन्-नाम-मन्त्र-मनिशं मनुजा: स्मरन्त:,
सद्य: स्वयं विगत-बन्ध-भया भवन्ति: ॥46॥

हिंदी अर्थ – जिनका शरीर पैर से लेकर कण्ठ पर्यन्त बड़ी-बड़ी सांकलों से जकड़ा हुआ है और विकट सघन बेड़ियों से जिनकी जंघायें अत्यन्त छिल गईं हैं ऐसे मनुष्य निरन्तर आपके नाममंत्र को स्मरण करते हुए शीघ्र ही बन्धन मुक्त हो जाते है।

English Meaning – O Liberated soul! Persons put in prison, tied from head to toe in heavy chains, whose thighs have been bruised by the rough edges of the chain-links, get unshackled and freed from bondage by chanting your name.

श्लोक – 47

॥ सकल भय विनाशन मंत्र ॥
मत्त-द्विपेन्द्र-मृग-राज-दवानलाहि-
संग्राम-वारिधि-महोदर-बन्ध-नोत्थम्।
तस्याशु नाश-मुपयाति भयं भियेव,
यस्तावकं स्तव-मिमं मतिमानधीते: ॥47॥

हिंदी अर्थ – जो बुद्धिमान मनुष्य आपके इस स्तवन को पढ़ता है उसका मत्त हाथी, सिंह, दवानल, युद्ध, समुद्र जलोदर रोग और बन्धन आदि से उत्पन्न भय मानो डरकर शीघ्र ही नाश को प्राप्त हो जाता है।

English Meaning – O jina! The wise who recites this panegyric with devotion is always free of fears of mad elephants, ferocious lions, forest fire, poisonous snakes tempestuous sea, fatal diseases,and bondage. In fact, fear itself is afraid of him.

श्लोक – 48

॥ जिन-स्तुति-फल मंत्र ॥
स्तोत्र-स्रजं तव जिनेन्द्र गुणैर्निबद्धाम्,
भक्त्या मया विविध-वर्ण-विचित्र-पुष्पाम्।
धत्ते जनो य इह कण्ठ-गता-मजस्रं,
तं मानतुंग-मवशा-समुपैति लक्ष्मी: ॥48॥

हिंदी अर्थ – हे जिनेन्द्र देव! इस जगत् में जो लोग मेरे द्वारा भक्तिपूर्वक (ओज, प्रसाद, माधुर्य आदि) गुणों से रची गई नाना अक्षर रुप, रंग बिरंगे फूलों से युक्त आपकी स्तुति रुप माला को कंठाग्र करता है।

उस उन्नत सम्मान वाले पुरुष को अथवा आचार्य मानतुंग को स्वर्ग मोक्षादि की विभूति अवश्य प्राप्त होती है।

English Meaning – O Jina! With devotion, I have made up this string (panegyric) of your virtues. I have decorated it with charming and multicolored (words) flowers (sentiments).

The devotee who always wears it on the neck (memories and chants) attracts the goddess of success (attracts the highest honor, the goal of liberation).
