Shendur Lal Chadhayo Lyrics in Hindi: शेंदुर लाल चढ़ायो आरती
भगवान गणेश जी को बाधाओं को दूर करने वाला और सौभाग्य लाने वाला, कला व विज्ञान का संरक्षक और बुद्धि…
Krishnaya Vasudevaya Haraye Paramatmane: Mantras are not just words – they are vibrations that touch our mind, body, and soul. Every mantra carries an energy that either calms us or takes us to heights.
Whenever we chant any mantra with the right feeling, we start connecting with the divine source within us.
In the Hindu religion, some special mantras have been given for every deity, which awaken their energy.
Just like “Om Namah Shivaya” for Shiva, “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” for Vishnu, similarly, there is a very powerful and deep mantra:
“Om Krishnaya Vasudevaya Haraye Paramatmane.” This mantra is dedicated to Krishna’s all-pervasive, inner-permanent, and salvation-giving form. This is his form, which is based on Leela as well as on Paramatma.
Chanting this mantra not only helps us connect with the form of Krishna, but also makes us feel the divinity within us.
Come, let us understand this sacred mantra more deeply – with every word, every feeling, and every experience.
This mantra is definitely small, but every word has a universe hidden in it. While chanting it, if we understand the meaning of every word, its effect on the mind and soul becomes deeper.
Sanskrit Shloka:
||ॐ कृष्णाय वासुदेवाय हरये परमात्मने,
प्रणत: क्लेशनाशाय गोविंदाय नमो नम||
Hindi Translation:
वासुदेव के पुत्र श्री भगवान कृष्ण अपने शरणागत के,
दुखों को हरने वाले है और ऐसे कृपालु श्री गोविन्द को बारम्बार नमन।
English Translation:
Lord Krishna, the son of Vasudeva, removes the sufferings of those who surrender to Him, and we repeatedly salute such a merciful Lord Govinda.
The first and most important word – the first sound of creation. The whole universe is contained in this one letter. When we say “Om“, we connect our existence with the elements of the world.
This word is for Lord Krishna. “Krishna” means – one who makes everyone happy. One who captivates the world with love, compassion, and divine activities.
Its meaning is – son of Vasudev (Krishna), but it has another deeper meaning: one who resides within everyone – an inner form. Krishna was not just a person; rather, he is the Supreme Soul present in everyone.
“Haraye” means one who removes all sufferings – Dukh-harta. When we call Krishna “Haraye”, we pray to Him to remove our pain, sins, and worries.
He is the highest form – the one who is omnipotent, omnipresent, and infinite. Krishna is not just a king, not just a friend – He is the Supreme Soul, who is beyond everything. The ultimate goal of all living beings.

Mythological Significance:
In the Bhagavat, Krishna showed himself in the form of a supersoul to Arjun, and he was mesmerised by his thousands of forms.
Krishna was not just a king, a friend, or a playful man; he was the Supreme Soul. And its most important and thrilling proof is the Vishwaroop Darshan of the Mahabharata.
The story is that of the moment before the war of the Mahabharata was about to start. Arjun, in spite of being a great warrior, was all broken from the inside.
He just could not get over the fact that he would have to kill his own relatives. His intellect had become confused.
Then Krishna recited the Bhagavad Gita to him as his companion, but words alone would not be sufficient.
Arjun was still unable to believe that Krishna was not just a human being but the almighty God.
Then Krishna said: “Na tu mam shakya drashtum… yogam aishwaryam.”
“You cannot see me in this form with your eyes; I give you divine vision.”
And then that supernatural vision happened – Krishna showed his Vishwaroop to Arjun. Arjun saw that everything was included in Krishna: ghost, future, present, Brahman, birth, death, nature, time. Krishna had infinite power, infinite face, infinite eyes, and infinite form.
At that moment, Arjun’s anger vanished, his mind became calm – and he worshipped Krishna as “Paramatma“. “Tvam Adi Devah Purushah Purānah…”
“You are the first God, the first man, the first and the last.”
This is the same form which we call “Haraye Paramatmane,” the one who conquers all sorrows, resides in everything, and is beyond everything, the one without any qualities.
Mantra is such a thing that is not only spoken from the mouth but also from the heart. And when we talk about Krishna’s name, every syllable becomes such a divine wave that touches your mind, body, and soul.
“Om Krishnaya Vasudevaya Haraye Paramatmane” mantra makes you experience devotion, peace, and inner energy at the same time.

3. Karmas get purified and sins get destroyed – According to the Puranas, the simple act of saying the name of Krishna will automatically purify one.

4. A path of spiritual guidance is found in life – This mantra is not merely a prayer; it is a pathway. With daily chanting, a path of light begins to emerge from the chaos, confusion, darkness, and sorrow of your life. As if some unknown power is guiding you from within.
5. The journey from soul to God begins – Through this mantra, you connect with that form of Krishna which is not only in the temple but also inside you.
While chanting, slowly a divine connection awakens in the soul – from where the final journey begins, towards salvation.
A mantra has an effect only when its pronunciation is pure and full of feeling. The sound of every word is an energy – and when that energy comes out in the correct form, only then does it reach Krishna. Let us understand this mantra letter by letter.
Every mantra gives more results when recited at the right time and with proper discipline.
When we chant this holy mantra of Krishna at the right time, with the right rules, and with pure feelings, then it brings a great change in our lives.
But do keep in mind that mantra jaap can be taken up at any time if the mind is pure and the feeling is true.
Make chanting this mantra a habit, which is not just a routine but becomes a part of your life.
Slowly, Krishna will start appearing in every aspect of your life – in the form of a sign, in the form of peace, and sometimes even in the form of a smile.
“Om Krishnaya Vasudevaya Haraye Paramatmane” is not just a mantra, it is the call of a soul – a feeling of complete desire to meet at the feet of Lord Krishna.
When we chant this mantra, we surrender our mind, thoughts, and life to Him. This mantra reminds us that in the form of Krishna, there is also Leela, love, and Paramatma.
Whether we remember Him as Bal Gopal or as Yogeshwar, every time this mantra gives us a new experience – a change from within, a purification, a sharing.
If you chant this mantra daily – with feeling, discipline, and faith – then slowly your life gets filled with Krishna.
Then there is no fear, no worry, no arrogance. Only a happy surrender – in which every sorrow also seems like a joy.
So, from today, at the beginning of your day or in the peace of the evening, make this mantra your companion.
There is no need for any temple, Vrindavan, or gate to meet Krishna – he is hidden in your mantra itself.
