Puja Details

Tripindi Shraddha is a sacred and highly meaningful puja performed to bring peace to the souls of ancestors who died an untimely, unnatural, or accidental death, or whose last rites were left incomplete. Such unsatisfied souls are believed to remain trapped between realms, causing what is known as Pitra Dosh in the family's life.

The ritual involves the offering of three Pindas (rice or barley balls), symbolically representing the deceased, along with Vedic mantras and prayers to help their souls find peace and move toward liberation (moksha).

Now you can perform this sacred ritual from your own home through 99Pandit's Tripindi Shraddha E-Puja service. Our experienced Pandits will guide you live over a video call, explaining each step of the vidhi, while you perform the ritual yourself with your own arrangements, right in your name and Gotra.

How To Book an E-puja for Tripindi Shraddha?

Tripindi Shraddha is performed when an ancestor's soul has not attained peace due to an untimely, unnatural, or accidental death, or when the last rites were left incomplete. Such unsatisfied souls are believed to remain trapped between realms, causing repeated misfortunes for the family, known as Pitra Dosh.

It can also be recommended when a person's Kundali shows severe ancestral affliction, or when a family faces recurring obstacles in marriage, career, health, or peace of mind, despite no clear worldly cause.

You do not have to be present physically; our experienced Pandit will perform the entire ritual by taking your name and Gotra on your behalf.

Significance of Tripindi Shraddha E- Puja

In your horoscope, if the ninth house of the birth chart is influenced by malefic planets, or if Rahu and Ketu heavily afflict key houses, it is considered a sign of severe, unresolved Pitra Dosh, often linked to an ancestor's untimely or unnatural death.

Along with it, if a family has never performed proper Shraddha rites, or continues to face repeated misfortunes despite other remedies, Tripindi Shraddha is recommended as a deeper, more powerful ritual to invoke peace for these specific ancestral souls.

It is also very easy to perform Tripindi Shraddha online, and hence, this practice is gaining popularity. This service is offered by many popular temples and pandits via video call, and they perform rituals on behalf of the individual.

It is also possible to pre-book Tripindi Shraddha Puja and have the ritual performed at sacred locations along with expert Vedic priests. The Sankalp is administered by the priest in the name of the subject/devotee, making the bonding spiritual despite physical distance.

We can say in Vedic astrology that this puja is traditionally recommended to be performed on Amavasya Tithi and is often completed within a single dedicated session by qualified Pandits well-versed in this specific ritual.

A few traditional items were hard to find here in Toronto, so we substituted a couple. Pandit ji was understanding and adjusted the guidance accordingly, which we appreciated.

Good experience overall. The samagri checklist was helpful, though a couple of items took some effort to arrange on short notice.
